Brihaspati Vrat Udyapan
In Hinduism, Thursday is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Brihaspati, the Guru of all Devas. Thursday is also called Brihaspativaar or Virhaspativaar. The people who observe the Brihaspati fast and sincerely perform the puja are blessed with wealth and good health. However, some devotees perform the Brihaspati Puja Udyappan, which is of considerable significance, according to Hindu mythology.
Brihaspati Puja Udyappan is regarded as a celebration of thanksgiving and gratitude towards the Lord. It is also a way to show appreciation to the god for allowing the devotee to perform the Birhaspati puja and observe the vrat for the required number of days. The Brihaspati Vrat Udyappan concludes after completing Brihaspati fast as advised by the Pandit or the priest for seven days, nine days, 16 days, 45 days, 52 days, 108 days, etc. After completing the vrat for a specific number of days, one performs Udyappan. One can observe the vrat for a minimum of 7 Thursdays and a maximum of 108 Thursdays. If a devotee is keeping Sanma vrat, then it requires a fast on Thursday for a lifetime.
The procedure of Brihaspati Puja Udyappan:
On the day of Udyappan, the devotee gets up early in the morning, takes a bath, and clad themselves in yellow-coloured clothes. After this, one can begin with the rituals of Brihaspati Puja.
One must perform the puja without consuming any solid food. After completing the puja rituals, one can have milk and fruits. It is essential to chant the Lord Brihaspati mantra throughout the day of Udyappan.
On the day of Brihaspati Udyappan, one must distribute curd rice among the poor and needy people after completing the puja rituals. Minimum 9 people should be given curd rice. If a person is rich, they can donate money, clothes like a dhoti, saree, etc.
After giving the alms, one must have the curd rice to complete the vrat.
On completing the day of Brihaspati vrat, one is done with the Udyappan of the Thursday fast.
__बृहस्पति व्रत उदयन
हिंदू धर्म में, गुरुवार सभी भगवानों के गुरु भगवान विष्णु और भगवान बृहस्पति को समर्पित है। गुरुवार को बृहस्पतिवार या विरहस्पतिवर भी कहा जाता है। जो लोग बृहस्पति व्रत का पालन करते हैं और ईमानदारी से पूजा करते हैं, उन्हें धन और अच्छे स्वास्थ्य का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है। हालांकि, कुछ भक्त हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, बृहस्पति पूजा उद्योगप्पन करते हैं, जिसका काफी महत्व है।
बृहस्पति पूजा उदयप्पन को भगवान के प्रति धन्यवाद और कृतज्ञता का उत्सव माना जाता है। यह भक्त को बृहस्पति पूजा करने की अनुमति देने और आवश्यक दिनों की संख्या के लिए व्रत का पालन करने का भी एक तरीका है। बृहस्पति व्रत उदयन पंडित या पुरोहित द्वारा 7 दिन, 9 दिन, 16 दिन, 45 दिन, 52 दिन, 108 दिन, इत्यादि के अनुसार उपवास के बाद बृहस्पति व्रत का समापन होता है। व्यक्ति न्यूनतम 7 गुरुवार और अधिकतम 108 गुरुवार के लिए व्रत का पालन कर सकता है। यदि कोई भक्त सनामा व्रत रख रहा है, तो उसे जीवन भर के लिए गुरुवार के व्रत की आवश्यकता होती है।
बृहस्पति पूजा उद्यापन की प्रक्रिया:
उद्यापन के दिन, भक्त सुबह जल्दी उठता है, स्नान करता है, और खुद को पीले रंग के कपड़ों में बांधता है। इसके बाद व्यक्ति बृहस्पति पूजा के अनुष्ठान को शुरू कर सकता है। आपको बता दें कि किसी भी ठोस भोजन का सेवन किए बिना ही बृहस्पति पूजा करनी चाहिए। उद्यापन के पूरे दिन भगवान बृहस्पति मंत्र का जप करना आवश्यक है।
बृहस्पति उद्यापन के दिन, पूजा अनुष्ठान पूरा करने के बाद, गरीबों और जरूरतमंद लोगों के बीच दही चावल बांटना चाहिए। न्यूनतम 9 लोगों को दही चावल दिया जाना चाहिए। यदि कोई व्यक्ति धनवान है, तो वह धन, कपड़े जैसे धोती, साड़ी आदि का दान कर सकता है। भिक्षा देने के बाद व्रत पूरा करने के लिए दही चावल का भोग लगाना चाहिए। बृहस्पति व्रत के दिन को पूरा करने के लिए, गुरुवार व्रत को उद्यापन के साथ समाप्त किया जाना चाहिए।
