Lord Vishnu wears Pitambhar or yellow colour, and he is the one who leads the Planet Jupiter. This is why it is considered auspicious to wear yellow on Thursdays, which is the day of Lord Brihaspati.
Use of Yellow for Brihaspati Puja
Planet Jupiter plays a significant role in a person's horoscope; it can mend or break one's life. It determines the nature of an individual along with the optimism level. If Jupiter is malefic in one's horoscope, one needs to strengthen the same. Lord Brihaspati is the protector and guardian of all. Therefore, everyone must worship him.
